The VARIABLE SPEED MOTOR from AMANA is for selection of speed, while keeping constant voltage and current. It features high power, high efficiency and low noise level. The housing of the motor is made up of robust sheet metal to ensure rigidity. The gear box can be manually disengaged through specially designed reversing switch to change the normal single phase induction motor into a fractional horsepower motor. The reversing switch can be locked with provided interlock screw. The insulation class of the VARIABLE SPEED MOTOR is B, which enables it to be used in damp locations.
