The Inducer Vent Assembly is the piece of equipment that distributes air into the dryer Drum. Over time, lint can build up inside of it and it will no longer dispense air properly into the drum. The Inducer Vent Assembly should be replaced whenever the inducer blower motor is replaced. This is a genuine replacement part sourced directly from Amana.

The inducer motor vent assembly is used in combination with a new or remanufactured inducer motor and a new diffuser upper housing and mounting plate. The part number of the inducer motor assembly that must be provided by the consumer or dealer is 168002 and the part number for the diffuser upper housing and motor mount is 169002. A new door gasket, which is not included in this service kit, must be ordered separately.
