The BB6AL Privacy Lever is a lever that hides the latch and dead bolt making it look like the door is open when it's really closed. This is a great option for houses with shared walls. It comes with a 2-1/8" (54 mm) diameter round corner strike plate and screws are included. The privacy lever has an easy to use, ergonomic handle with reverse action. A patented design, the curved arm of the BB6AL conceals the latch from the outside of the door and offers full view of the handle from inside, making this product simple to install. The Balboa Privacy Lever is a privacy pass through handle that provides 2-way privacy from within the bathroom, while still maintaining a smooth, easy to clean surface. The Balboa Privacy Lever comes with all brass, fully adjustable hardware, as well as six (6) inch Strike in Satin Chrome.
The Balboa Privacy Latch can be used in conjunction with either a Left or Right Hand Privacy Strike. The Six Point action lever handle is used to actuate the latch; the handle is rotated 90 degrees in either clockwise or counterclockwise directions. This will cause the latch to release the door; rotating 90 degrees in either direction again will allow it to re-engage the striker and latch the door closed.
