This base plated steel is designed to fit the Edlund G932 & G936 slicers. Base plate and handle must be ordered as set.

Made out of a combination of base plated steel combined with stainless steel. This item is one component in a two part assembly, with the other being the handle. The end of the handle(A932SP) fits into the hole drilled into the base plated steel (A932SP) and is secured there with set screws that are tightened to make it a solid connection. Since there is some movement between the two parts due to bending, this design will prevent breaking of the handles by putting stress on them. It will also give you a good feel for what's going on inside your meat as you cut it
