The Flashlight X Series intrinsically safe products are available in three different intensities, low, moderate and high.

Compact and lightweight, the X-Series flashlight is designed for hazardous areas. The intrinsically safe version has been certified to be used in Class I Division 2 and Class II Division 2 locations without creating a spark, minimizing the possibility of electrical shock. It also reduces the risk of ignition from an open flame. The X-Series uses a push-button tail switch that prevents accidental operation and releases quickly for momentary short bursts of light, which is ideal for emergency workers.

Our X-Series flashlights meet the stringent requirements set by the USDA for use in Intrinsically Safe and Non-Intrinsic Safety Hazard Zone IIIA. Our design and construction eliminates hazardous gases, vapor or particulates associated with hazardous environments from leaking into the body of the flashlight when used according to specification.

It's been fully tested to UL standards to ensure its flashlights are intrinsically safe/any type of gas/air mixture within the range indicated by voltage.
