The Blue Sea Systems Add-A-Battery Kit w/ ACR, MFG# 7650003, can be plugged into an existing dash switch for an easy upgrade to two batteries without using up your DIMM slots. The 7650003 includes a dual circuit battery switch (blue keyed) and an automatic charging relay (ACR) (black keyed) which ensures that the second battery is automatically connected and charged when the alternator is running.
The BS-7650003 also includes our Automatic Charge Relay/Start Isolator ACR7610. This device enables the charger to control the second battery but as soon as the engine fires up, it automatically switches over and disconnects the second battery from the alternator and isolates the batteries so they do not drain each other's power when parked.
The Add-a-Battery Kit with ACR and Dual Circuit Plus Battery Switch creates a second parallel circuit for starting your engine and running auxiliary equipment, and automatically isolates the batteries during starting for true no-drain starting. When power is restored to your boat, ACR detects if the engine is running or not and switches to charge mode.
Our battery switch designed for dual battery use includes either one of our Automatic Charging Relays (ACR) or the Start Isolator. This can be used for starting, engine charging, and/or a source of power for accessories. The switch includes a solid-state electronic control that prevents the main battery from being discharged when connected to a low voltage accessory load. The ACR automatically controls the start circuit and isolates it during normal boat operation.

Add-A-Battery Kit w/ACR - This kit allows you to control the automatic charging of your battery. The ACR will monitor the voltage of the second battery and automatically transfer energy to it from your alternator when the voltage drops below a preset level. When in 'Charge' mode, the boat's starting system is disabled and therefore protected from draining the main engine battery.
The Blue Sea Systems BS-7650003 BATTERY SWITCH w/ACR combines the functionality of a battery selector switch and automatic charging relay into one robust and compact device. The automatic charging relay makes sure that the second battery bank is being adequately charged, even when a battery charger is not in use. The BATTERY SWITCH w/ACR also features integrated overcharge protection and selectable starting priority on the secondary battery bank (when connected to a primary starting source).
