It has manual manual trip unit which is rated for 150 amps at 12 volts DC, and offers 240/120 volt split bus configuration. This circuit breaker is ideal for the main DC power supply of boat electrical circuits.

The 187 SURF 120A has a larger auxiliary relay than the standard Model 187 providing 120amps more capacity. It is rated for use by all types of marine applications. The rugged, extruded aluminum enclosure is bonded to the contact assembly with silicone resins. It is further encapsulated with an epoxy thermosetting resin, increasing its corrosion resistance. Silicon gel seals are used at all assembly joints, insuring water-resistance ratings are not diminished by moving parts or vibration.
