This Bogen ASWG1 Ceiling Speaker is a 8 in. speaker with a 2 Kilo-ohm Speaker level Input and a 24V DC power supply. It has a polarity shielded 4 ohm impedance, and weighs only 3.0 lbs. The power requirement for this speaker is 24 V AC/DC, 50-66 HZ, 0.50A maximum. This speaker has an 8 in with an injection molded enclosure construction for durability, and has UV resistant material that resists fading out in the sun. It is made for indoor and outdoor environments, and has heavy duty plastics that makes it rust proof
The Bogen Communication International ASWG1 24V Ceiling Speaker can serve myriad communication, security, and background music distribution applications in commercial or residential settings. On-board volume potentiometers allow easy system adjustment control. The multiple mounting options give installers flexibility in speaker position choices. A PC board mounted switch set delivers two line level signal sources to the speaker, as well as an independent lamp circuit for convenience and security applications.
This 24 volt ceiling mounted speaker is perfect for workshops or spare rooms. And it will output clear, intelligible speech and sound in a wide 180 degree horizontal range and 60 degree vertical pattern. The unit uses a 12 watt peak amplifier.

The Bogen ASWG1 is a 24 volt ceiling speaker for commercial use. Permanently fixed full range speaker in durable ABS enclosure. The aluminum grille may be left in place or removed to reveal the round mounting boss for a #10-32 threaded mast, for connecting to asingle Bogen T1777 or T3534 transmitter. Also includes 35 mm power input and volume control. Rated for 0.5 W (8 ohm=2V). This speaker has no mounting bracket; one must be purchased separately.
This Bogen speaker has a white cabinet with a 24V low voltage transformer. It comes with 4' coaxial cable, attached 8 in. wire-reinforced cone woofer and the 2NO/2NC switch is compatible with stereo equipment, which can be used as part of a sound system in residential or commercial applications. The listed underwriters laboratories (UL) symbol on this equipment indicates it is recognized under UL's standards for safety and suitability for use in the USA.
