The CP angle stop is used as a piping stop for change of direction in straight runs, and to prevent rotation of piping running at an angle. It provides support for tubing or hose at any angle coming off a control valve, and may be used as a branch connection to PVC piping. The stop contains an internal sleeve that springs up and down to give support to the tubing or hose. The external sleeve is threaded to accept screw type fittings, or it may be trimmed off if not required. Specifications: Thread Size - 3/8" ID - 1/2" x 3/8" OD Lead Free Compliant
This lead-free brass compression stop is manufactured by T&S Brass as part of their line of specialty products. Visit our site for information on other T&S Brass products.
Compression stops are used to limit the travel of the valve stem in a compression, or lead-free ball drain. The PVC spud is inserted into a Compression fit stop, and then coupled to the valve body. The rigid plastic faces will contact flush when the fitting is fully tightened. The stop can then be cut at the desired length using a hacksaw, or seamed shut for permanent installations. Homogenous plastic construction ensures that each stop has accurate dimensions and meets NACM standards.
