This is a Browning Cast Iron Pillow Block with a 2-7/16" diameter bore, 2-3/4" base to center height, for an air handling duty application. It is made of cast iron and features .75 inch Journal size. It has 2 bolt flange mount style. This product comes standard with our Continuously Variable Pressure Regulator Valve or an Air Regulator with built in motorized spool valve."

The VPS series are forged Steel, with welded aluminum base for strength and the ability to withstand extended periods of high vibration."

Each positive rod guide assembly has a 1/8" preload adjustment. Positive guide rods eliminate all spring tension on the thrust surfaces of the bearings. If binding occurs, it is due to faulty installation and must be corrected before further use. Corrosion can cause wear in soft metal guides which should also be checked and replaced if necessary.

The VPS-239AH is a two-bolt, air-handler duty, setscrew lock, contact and flinger seal ball bearing. The inner ring of the bearing is manufactured from a high quality grey iron alloy which has outstanding load carrying capability and provides good wear resistance. The outer ring is a hardened steel alloy providing strength and wear resistance. The ball is made of high quality cast-bearing steel which gives minimum rolling resistance ensuring long life even at high speeds."
