Used with oil burner systems, this photoconductive flame sensor for sequenced oil burners systems is designed to detect flame absence and shut down the protective relays. Comes with mounting bracket for easy installation. Use with Honeywell Protectorelay #506610 (sold separately).

This flame detector is a photoconductive sensor that is used to monitor oil burner systems in commercial applications, such as factories, warehouses, schools and research facilities. The flame detector uses the most advanced combustion technology to sense even a small flame, and will shut down the protectorelay to protect the heating equipment against unnecessary damage from continued operation.

The Honeywell 2038 C554A-1463 flame detector with 60" leads, type R bracket and higher sensitivity cad cell is designed to detect flames in oil burner control systems. The unit has a photoconductive sensor that produces a flame detection signal when illuminated by visible light. With longer leads than standard detectors available on the market, this product provides versatility and ease of installation. It includes an explosive impact resistant resin case. This flame detector shuts down the protector relay when detecting flame out conditions.

The Electronic flame sensor is a type R, four wire zero power Flame Sensor. It is used with Honeywell FS-1 Schuko Protector Relays for oil and gas fired burners with low flames or pilot flames, including most HVAC, hot water boilers, oil burners in residential and commercial heating, industrial furnaces, stoves, and appliance applications. The ERP-2038 is designed for use in sequenced oil burner systems to turn off the protector relay when the pilot or low flame goes out.

The Honeywell 2038C554A-1463 is a hand held flame detector for use with L80 or L86 oil burner systems. It features a CdS photoconductor which is exceptionally sensitive to light when exposed to fire (versus photoelectric type flame detectors). The 2038C554A-1463 also has a higher sensitivity cad cell than similar products in the Flame Detector category, and operates at lower minimum gas levels for faster response. Additionally, the 2038C554A-1463 comes with 60" leads allowing for greater flexibility of location placement during installation.
