AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR W/8" ELEMENT
HONEYWELL 2072 3K OHM NTC DISCHARGE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR, 8" MONITOR ELEMENT DUCT SYSTEM (STD CAP 1/2 NPT)
The 3K Ohm NTC Air Temperature Sensor with 8 inch Long NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) element is designed to measure air temperatures in a forced air heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning system and can be used to protect a heating or cooling device. The NTC thermistor is made of solid wire nickel plated over silver braided copper. The sensor's resistance varies linearly with its temperature.
The Honeywell 2072, Inc. 3K ohm NTC Discharge Air Temperature Sensor is a double-element air temperature sensor with 8" leads. It has thermistor that is used to indicate a temperature of the exhaust gases and an emmitter to the temperature of the environment.
The most important part of any air conditioning or heating system is the temperature sensor. Our new Air Temperature Sensor is a heavy duty, 8" long NTC 1000 Series Thermistor with a lead wire, silicone insulation and wire leads. This 3000 Ohms NTC sensor comes with a free silicone boot that thermally insulates and protects it from damage or shorts. The 2072 comes in 3K Ohms and can handle 400 Amps at 90°C constant temperature.
3K ohm NTC Discharge AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR (Order as Required)
The Honeywell 2072 is an NTC air temperature sensor with an 8 inch probe. The 2072 includes a 3K Ohms to NTC resistor that makes it ideal for refrigeration or heater applications. Also features a 50/60 Hz range of 10-30 V AC/DC, with a maximum current of 0.1 mA DC and 0.33 mA AC. It has a maximum voltage of 250 V DC and a minimum current of 1 microamp DC, as well as 2 wire leads that are 5 ft long and if you are unsure of the length needed just check out our handy dandy chart
The 2072 Discharge Air Temperature Sensor is designed to measure the temperature of air discharged from heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. The sensor is manufactured from a glass-reinforced thermoplastic that will not corrode or discolor when exposed to the elements in a HVAC system. Made with an all-weather wire lead to withstand winter conditions and extreme weather environments. Also available are 8" and 10" probes
