AVERAGING TEMPERATURE SENSOR WITH 1

Averaging Temperature Sensor with 1-inch, 2-wire lead, 500 ohm to 1000 ohm @ 25C PTC. Classified accuracy at 75 F (23.89C) for temperature range of 0 F (-18.33C) to 220F (104.33C). The Honeywell 12183 has a direct lead wire type, a max RH of 95% and a 122000Hz resonant frequency .

AVERAGING DUCT TEMPERATURE SENSORS.

Our Averaging Sensor, using platinum as a sensing element, provides highly accurate temperature measurements without an external temperature sensor. The sensor is capable of averaging 40 analog RTDs (3.5 max. resistance) or 4 pulse input devices.

The general purpose sensor is for use as a temperature sensing element in temperature control systems. By using an Averaging Temperature Sensor, or temperature transmitter, you will be able to more precisely monitor the temperature of your system.

Honeywell's Averaging Duct Temperature Sensors are designed for measuring temperature in air ducts. Each sensor supports an output to control single phase HVAC system for heating and cooling applications that require granular temperature control. These sensors feature a rugged metal case and are available in a range of sizes with different combinations of sensing elements.

Our averaging temperature sensors are designed for use in the average temperature without a derating curve or overrange but with a 3-wire lead wire.

The averaging temperature probe features a low-power positive thermal coefficient (PTC) thermistor that will minimize the error term in the average temperature measurement. The thermistor will have a value that will vary according to its environment and its position within the hot gas flow downstream of the discharge of the heating equipment. By positioning each temperature probe downstream of the plenum, the error is nullified by averaging across multiple measurements and balancing against the primary method of measurement, which uses a platinum RTD sensor.
