13" AVERAGING DUCT SENSOR USED WITH
The Honeywell 13" Averaging Duct Sensors are designed to be inserted into duct runs and measure the air temperature in the ductwork. The sensors feature a PT3000 sensor element with an average response of 3484 ohms @ 25C.(degrees Celsius)
The PT3000 is a fully calibrated 13-inch averaging duct sensor with embedded self-maintaining PTC.
Averaging duct temperature sensor kit has a 13" long sensing element with a 1/2" diameter x 4 1/2' wire lead. PT3000 sense elements are special purpose, polymeric PTC thermistors manufactured to Honeywell specifications. They have a built-in two wire lead for easy hookup and comply with SAE J1167, and ISO 6184 standards.
The C7100C1003 PT3000 13" Averaging duct temperature sensor is used to sense room temperature in residential and commercial heating, ventilating, cooling applications. It is typically used for detecting room-average conditions to avoid overcooling and to control the size of the zone supply duct depending on the heater's capacity.

These Averaging Temperature Sensors report up/down duct temperatures that offer a more accurate depiction of in-duct air distribution temperature variations. This increases the ability to maintain uniform in-duct air temperatures and thus results in maximum comfort for occupants, increased energy efficiency and reduced operating costs.
This discharging sensor fits where there is minimal air flow. It is installed in a duct and monitors the discharge face temperature (outside leg style). It is priced to replace too expensive sensors used for the same application.
