DISCHARGE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR RE
This is the new EMM-B/TZ temperature sensor for Honeywell 55037 (Honeywell Model No. 56321C). This EMM-BTZ should be used in any application that requires an external discharge air temperature sensor.
The Honeywell 55037 Designed for use with EMM and TZ Zone Systems with both 2-wire and 4-wire duct sensing. The Sensor measures discharge air temperature to help determine when the air filter should be cleaned or replaced.
The Sensor Duct Temperature measures the discharge air temperature from the main blower. This sensor measures the temperature of the air going out your vents, which usually could be hotter than the air in your living space.
The 55037 Thermostat is used to indicate discharge air temperature downstream of an adjustable air volume, constant air volume, or balanced air volume system. The sensor that comes with it has a long wire and alligator clip connectors. It can be mounted on the outside wall of any ductwork where the ambient temperature is near room temperature. This thermistor offers a resistance-based output that varies linearly with temperature between –40°F and +250°F.
The sensor mount on an air conditioning system consists of the housing and, in most cases, an integral sensor. The mount acts as a mechanical support for the sensor, but also provides electrical connections to the blower and refrigerant tubes.
This is a brand new Honeywell Indoor Air Quality Thermostat/Sensor. It has never been installed, and is still in the original packaging.
The Honeywell 55037 Sensor Duct Temperature for EMM and TZ Zone Systems is made by Honeywell, a leading manufacturer of quality air conditioning parts.
