The AMANA CAP, 12.5 MFD/370V / RD is designed to replace the defective and aging non-LED lightbulbs in ceiling fans.

The Capacitor is the heart of an HVAC system. It consists of a metal can (usually aluminum, or in some instances steel), that is hermetically sealed, with a rubber grommet to prevent a dangerous electrical shock should the capacitor be accidentally touched. A MFD capacitor for standard air conditioning units is 12.5 mfd/370 volts. The Cap will have 2 leads coming out of it. Third time you really need one!
