The 16100Z0L862 is designed specifically for the Honda GL1800. It can also be used with a BB7 conversion kit to replace the carburetor on the early model GL1800 Goldwings.

The carburetor for the CVCC engine 16100-Z0L-862 is manufactured by Hitachi, Ltd of Tokyo, Japan. It is a two barrel downdraft model with idle circuits and throttle valves atop the chassis. The top and bottom halves can be removed independently by loosening fasteners around the perimeter of each half. A shutoff valve assembly screws onto the brass top half and has a lever on its right side. There is a vacuum breaker screw-adjustable regulator that mounts to the top half.
