INDUCER HOUSING ASSEMBLY

The INDUCER HOUSING ASSEMBLY is used on Carrier and Bryant multi-position gas furnace models that are installed downstream of the air handler.

This is an Inducer Housing Assembly. It is used in Carrier Furnaces: 326627, 359170, 359171, 359172, 359577, 359578, 359599 and many others.

The Inducer Housing Assembly is an essential piece for the Carrier 346 Series and 365 Series. This allows the outdoor compressor windings to be cooled before being sent into the indoor heat pump condenser.

The Inducer Housing Assembly is used with a 326627-758 Inducer Fan and a 326628-757 Motor Blower to form an air scrubber system for Carrier heating systems. It is also used on the Carrier 58EJ4, 58TF64, and 58TF65 Air Conditioning Systems. The assembly only comes with the blower part of the air scrubber system. All other required parts must be ordered separately.

The inducer housing assembly consists of the following parts: tube assmbly, motor, and housing. The inducer is in-line flow inducer encase on the outlet of compressor to decrease the high pressure air to low pressure air and increase compressor capacity. The main function of the inducer is to maintain a much higher pressure at the inlet than at the outlet. It also draws large amounts of air through the compressor because it has a large surface area.

The inducer housing assembly is located in the unit's lower left air tube. It helps regulate the flow of refrigerant to the compressor and condenser.
