Turn up the temperature of this deal from Carrier. This gas valve is product number 327972-753 and has a solid brass body for long life, oversized pilot burner for more uniform heat, 270° thermostat with an off indicator and manual reset to prevent overshoot, wire connector with disconnect for easy removal while servicing for safety. To activate the emergency manual shutoff, rotate the thermopile knob left. To close the valve, turn the thermopile knob right.
This gas control valve will work with Rheem, Ruud, Tempstar and some other Gas Furnace models. This is an OEM Carrier part. It is round in shape and features a top load glass filled Nylon construction. This valve features a blue nylon lever handle that can be rotated to Econo or Manual position for ease of use when servicing furnace. The cap side screws off for easy service access to the field portions of the valve which require replacing periodically to prevent freezing up.
