The Carrier 331709-753 5 Ton TXV Valve incorporates a dual pilot design resulting in smoother pilot operation and more precise pilot screw adjustment. This eliminates the need for a remote pilot valve, reducing installation complexity and hardware costs.

The R-Series reverse cycle TXV valves are designed for use with Carrier condensing gas furnaces. They are usually located inside the plenum adjacent to the evaporator coils. The R22RVR-753 uses a two stage valve, 3/4" or larger copper tubing, and 1/2" diameter discharge line. It includes a manual drain port which may be connected by tubing to other condensing systems including chilled water, hydronic piping, etc., thus permitting other systems to share vapor from the maximum capacity of their TXV valve.
