The Carrier R22 5Ton TXV air conditioner is designed to maintain humidity and comfort throughout the year. This unit is designed to meet efficiency equipment standards for both 5-8 ton applications. Sizes ranging from 4930/1520/2480 to 6990/2035/2880 have 14'-4" of clearance and a cooling capacity of up to 106,000 BTUs. The x number of ton value is based on the commercial sizing standards and represents the approximate window area of a room that can be conditioned based on unit size and cooling efficiency. The Carrier R22 5Ton TXV is a disconnecting auto/manual scroll condensing unit. It has 1.5 stage compression refrigeration system. This unit has 2 scroll compressor, fixed head arrangement, its over-range is from -29ºF (-34ºC) to 90ºF (32ºC). Unit features a liquid line filter drier, 45,000 BTU/hr cooling capacity. Air flow is 620 CFM with outside temperature of 82ºF (28ºC). The motor capacity is 23 HP. Electrical current required is 208-230/50/1-phases
