The Carrier 99cc409372 furnace is compatible with the Carrier Model FRT furnaces and the Payne AC products. Flare Cap Heating Element – The Flare Cap™ element uses flame-focused technology to create instant heat. Its patented design features a unique flame pattern producing a mini pilot flame that is precisely directed downward, toward your home's floor. When in operation, the Flare Cap™ has an output of 3,800 BTU per hour operating on a 28 Amp circuit. The Flare Cap™ element requires an 18" by 18" floor register for installation.'

The Carrier Flare Cap is compatible with Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps. It allows the condensate to flow back to the compressor unit instead of to the ground.

Externally, the Carrier flare cap has all the features you’d expect from a premium flare finish, plus some new enhancements. Internally, we changed over to SSPC-SP6 for a more durable coating with a higher temperature resistance. We also removed the internal breather hole and instead placed an external breather hole through the replacement screw.

This Carrier Condenser line flare adapter is designed for the installation of a propane tank or LP cylinder in the service port of your Carrier air conditioner. With no exposed burner flame, it provides safe, convenient access to the propane level. This adapter comes with a safety cap that has a flame arrester screen. It comes with a 3/8-inch NPT female gas inlet and a flare fitting 1/2-inch NPT male outlet.
