The TXV in this kit is a new one that is rated for four-pipe applications at 58°F. The Carrier R410A TXV Kit insulation provides the most efficient cooling and heating operation for Carrier HVAC systems with R410A refrigerant. It is designed for indoor or outdoor installation, and comes with a 10-year limited warranty.

Easy to install, this kit contains the necessary hardware and accessories for a R410A system. It includes an exclusive Carrier TXV for split systems with low operating pressures. It also includes an aluminum expansion valve and separate drain for the liquid coupling. Plus, it comes complete with the company's patented insulation blanket.

This assembly includes the TXV (heating) and ISC (cooling) the components used in a variable refrigerant flow evaporator coil. The assembled kit consists of a 12-13 inch long, two piece metal r410a manifold with a copper tube and body, an encased high temperature sensor with a copper tube and body, two brazed aluminum or brass pieces, one with a nipple connection (2 inches long) and one without a nipple (3/8 inches long), threaded to accommodate the sensors.
