The Carrier Liquid Line Solenoid Valve (refrigerant) is a single stage, normally closed, poppet type diaphragm actuated solenoid valve that is used to control the delivery, isolation and shutoff of refrigeration or air conditioning liquids.

The Carrier liquid line solenoid valve is designed to control refrigerant flow in systems using a remote condensing unit (condenser). It allows the refrigerant gas to flow from the evaporator, through the condensing unit, and back to the evaporator.
