130-170F AUTO Limit Switch
The Carrier Replacement Limit Switch L170-40 for models 298658, and 295135/298656 is suitable for use with some of the carrier brand furnaces. It is a 3 inch limit switch that runs from 130 to 170 degrees Fahrenheit, and has a 16 gauge wire with an 8 foot lead.
Designed for use in Carrier�� air conditioners, the 298658 is a replacement limit switch. This limit switch accepts: 3" wire leads. The 130�F High Temperature Limit Switch is designed for use with gas-fired reciprocating heat pump and air conditioning systems that use low refrigerant charge, carbon steel gas valves with 1/8" female NPT pipe threads, and that are charged to a maximum of 17 psig.
The Carrier L170-40 replacement Limit Switch is a direct factory OEM replacement that comes complete with leads, wire nuts, and screws. The 140 F limit switch is used for high limit, humidifier high, evaporator low, and low pressure options. It serves as a one piece subassembly for eliminating time consuming field wiring of the control circuit.
