The Carrier HH19ZA940 temp act switch is part of the heating and cooling system. The temp act switch has two terminals and is used where manual control or automatic switching of the unit is required.

The TEMP ACT switch is used to sense and control temperature. The use of this sensor eliminates the need for a human temperature observer, thus better ensuring accuracy and reducing labor cost. It has an applicable range of approximately -65F/-54C to 160F/-71C.
