Our R410A refrigerant test tube valve replacement control board is a direct replacement for Carrier R-410A products that use the 4"x21" MERV 11 filters, and has long been the standard by which all other devices are judged. If you are willing to replace the entire process unit with our new versatile controller you will save a substantial amount of space in your cabinet, as well as reducing your electric bill significantly.

Our R410A TXV Test Tube Relay Board is for service technicians to replace the R410a test tube in the Carrier Air Conditioner Filter Cabinet. This comes with the plastic test tube, used with a syringe to inject air into the backside of the Carrier Air Conditioner evap coil.

The HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) experts at Carrier recommend replacing an R410A TXV valve every 5 years. After converting one of these "tall vintage" units to R410A, you'll notice that the total hours are about a third of a normal unit. After approximately 2 years, an R410A TXV will fail. Once the valve fails, there may be no reason for that unit to have the R-22 dual stage burner in it. The Control Board is used in Carrier Air Conditioning model HK42FZ090R, HK42TZ090R, HK42CZ090R. This board replaces the traditional Electronic Control Panel (ECP). Smaller size of board allows it to fit into a tighter space in the air conditioner. Features include R410A TXV valve replacement, 8 programmable zones, 24 volt pilot and 3 speed fan speeds.

IN OPTICAL MODE (see page 9), the Carrier Control Board guides airflow for efficient heating and cooling. When not used in conjunction with air handler or ventilation system, it is an excellent choice for a closet or other small space where circulation is not required. This is the control board for a R410A dual-zone 3-way split system forced air reverse cycle heat pump We have tested this unit under various load conditions and it appears to be working properly but we have not yet replaced it with a new board. The Carrier Control Board is a complete replacement for the faulty boards in all CH2 series of Carrier air conditioners.
