The Carrier HK680016 high pressure switch is used in the Gas line to protect against over pressurization in the downstream piping. It immediately cuts off the gas if pressure exceeds 130PSI for 5 cycles.

Carrier HK680016 Electronic Pressure Switches are used on Carrier high pressure evaporator systems for three-way and four-way service valves. These pressure switches have a 1/2" connection and are designed to interlock with a 24V transformer power source to send electronic voltage signals to the high pressure solenoid valve.
