Crankcase Heater
The Carrier KAACH1701AAA Crankcase Heater is a combustion heater for use on enclosed, air-conditioned spaces including crawl spaces and attics. It is used to prevent difficult-to-reach, outdoor equipment from freezing up.
Keep your engine warm in the garage or in an unheated area in the winter with the KAACH1701AAA Crankcase Heater. This unit warms crankcases and oil lines with a low-voltage electrical heating element.
The Carrier KAACH1701AAA 18,000 BTU Crankcase Heater is designed to heat a large area with a heavy duty steel casing and a high-temperature stainless steel core. It is designed for those hard working oil field workers.
The Carrier Brand KACHC1701AAA Crankcase Heater has an 33,000 BTU output and includes a curved air deflector. The heater is designed for use on heavy-duty diesel engine, gas turbine engine, or gasoline engine machinery that operates in temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The heater can provide 12 hours of continuous heat at full output, approximately twice the amount of heat compared to standard heaters
The Carrier kAACH1701AAA crankcase heater is designed to keep your engine running smoothly and consistently. The heavy-duty case withstands the most demanding environments, and the built-in heating element helps eliminate condensation for a dry startup even in frigid weather. Simply plug into your vehicle's 12-Volt outlet and rotate the crankcase heater dial to easily adjust temperature.
Carrier's kAACH1701AAA crankcase heater is tailored to fit Carrier air conditioning systems. With a built-in thermostat, it is designed to prevent moisture and condensation from returning into the air conditioning system after it has condensed in the compressor crankcase.
Ideal for use with 2-cycle, semi-synthetic or high t.s. base oils that require winterization. With optional heater H-2411B, engine will reach desired operating temperature quickly & avoid long cranking times in cold ambient temperatures--even down to -25 F! Heater includes hermetically sealed coil with built-in thermostat and petcock valve to maintain system pressure at 10 psi. (25'L) Quickly heats crankcase to the desired 200°F operating temperature despite cold weather outside air temperatures to ensure proper operation of transmissions, transfer cases & hydraulic clutch systems
