Carrier KSBTX0201PUR R410A EXPANSION VALVE is a Carrier refrigeration Fusible Inlet Expansion Valve & Manual Override Accumulator. Designed to be mounted to the inlet connection of the compressor or condenser, or any other suction line, this valve is designed to prevent overpressurization and control transient pressures caused by switching or cycling of compressors. This fusible expansion valve has manual over-ride accumulator feature allows you to supply high-side air pressure to the system utilizing all credits accumulated.

Our Carrier R410A Expansion Valve is designed to be compatible with Carrier 4D-Series Commercial Air Conditioners, Window AC Units and Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners.

To keep your refrigeration up and running, you need an expansion valve to maintain optimum pressure. Made from the highest quality materials, including a durable brass body, this replacement R410A expansion valve is designed to work with Carrier brand systems. It has a ¾" connection for the liquid line and ¼" inlet and outlet connections.

The R410A expansion valve and the membrane delimiters are designed to be mounted together on the indoor side of the R410A system, between the evaporator and the low-pressure cutout. The membrane delimiters allow refrigerant flow between service ports. The expansion valve senses system pressure and, based on a temperature sensor input, adjusts proportionally to regulate valve output pressure. The small orifice size provides stability during startup.

This stainless steel expansion valve is used in Carrier air conditioning systems. It is compatible with R410A refrigerant.

This carrier expansion valve allows efficient operation of systems that use 410A refrigerant. Designed with durability and repairability in mind, the cap is welded onto the body to ensure safety. All models have oil-filled expansion valves for longer life.

You have probably heard about the new R410A refrigerant. This valve is built to handle the higher pressures and temperatures that come with it. Since the valve has no spring and has a piston inside, you can get away with using a smaller diameter tube on the suction side. There is also no problem having the suction and discharge valves be the same size, which makes for easier installation.

This replacement Carrier expansion valve is designed to replace the original equipment expansion valve on Carrier brand, Bryant brand and Trane brand evaporator coil models that require service.

Most expansion valves are filled with oil and should not be drained. It is always recommended to refill expansion valves with fresh refrigerant that meet VOC regulations. The Carrier KSBTX0201PUR expansion valve displaces 12.1 grams of refrigerant per cycle and has a low purge flow rate of 0.3 grams per second.
