Inducer Wheel Assembly, Carrier Number LA11XA048

The Inducer Wheel is a replacement part for Carrier® brand air conditioning condensing units.

The Carrier LA11XA048 Inducer Wheel is designed to be used with the unit.

The inducer wheel attaches to the motor shaft of 110-115 volt input blowers. The propellant passes up through this wheel creating a centrifugal force that results in a swirl arrangement for the patterned air curtain.

The Carrier® inducer wheel is manufactured by The Nordyne System Inc. to NORDYNE part number. This part will be a one time replacement for the OEM inducer wheel that came with the unit when it was first installed.

The Carrier LA11XA048 inducer wheel installs directly onto the motor shaft on all 1/10 HP and 1/6 HP Carrier brand condensing units. This inducer wheel is for use on gas furnaces equipped with a gas valve assembly with an O-ring that fits inside a snap ring groove. If your snap ring is not in this groove, you do not need this inducer wheel.
