Add the rudder angle indicator display to any CMV pilot. This compact unit uses three analog dials to monitor your vessel's yaw in the three planes, giving you instant visual feedback wherever you are on board. The indicators will accept up to 12 to 32 VDC lighting and may be mounted using the top or bottom flange plate, or in a panel.

The CMV-20360023 is the mounting only for ComNav's CMV-2036 "Dipsy" analog rudder indicator. Label on display determines which mounting plate to order. This version has no lights, just 3 colored numbers.

Rudder angle indicator (3 analog 010-10741-001 rudder angle display with 3 pin connector) used in ComNav’s sport Pilot.

The CMV 20360023 rudder angle indicator is used with the CS-71 piloting system. The indicator displays dialed rudder angle and can be configured to report angle in degrees, normalized right/left or distance (feet or tenths of a mile). It has a minimum breaking load of 12 pounds so it will stand up to heavy lateral forces.

This unit is designed for single or multi axis vessels. The display only provides rudder angle and has a "+" and "-" adjustment. The CMV-20360023 Rudder Angle Indicator will work with most other instruments and systems we offer.

The CMV-20360023 displays all critical rudder angle information in a straightforward and easy to interpret digital format. Rudder angle is the angular displacement between the boat's centerline and a line perpendicular to the keel through the rudder or centerboard. This angle is most often used to control turning for sailboats, but can also be used on power boats for docking or other situations requiring critical control over boat direction.
