The Cook Electric Hydraulic Tilt/Trim Pump Controller is designed to provide precise, on-demand control over the hydraulic tilting and trim functions of an airframe. The controller is compatible with proportional self-leveling systems for aircraft that use pneumatic controls for tilt and trim. The controller includes a pressure sensor input channel that accepts direct signals from the aircraft's pressure sensor. A PT 3/5 connector provides the interface between the controller and the tilt/trim actuator.

This CMC PT-35 Electric Hydraulic Tilt And Trim unit provides 1.5" high pressure hydraulic cylinders for both tilt and trim in a single pump head design. It is equipped with multiple outlets, current proportional control, and a 3-port solenoid valve. Tilt to 0° to 90° in about 35 seconds with an external control position available from 0° to 45°. The trim pump has three different valve positions for maximum flexibility.

It can be used as a trim pump in a hydraulic circuit or as a tilt pump to supply hydraulic oil at pressure to the cable and winch operator mechanism. The motor on the pump allows for variable control of tilt angle, thereby providing hydraulically operated tower leveling.
