The CAPFA AlumaFin7™ 2.0 ton upflow/downflow evaporator coil is constructed from sturdy, all-aluminum extrusions and copper tube. This coil's design was specifically created for high-efficiency use in commercial ice manufacturing systems. A factory installed orifice expansion device can be placed inside the fin coil if necessary to optimize performance for super freezers and freezers.

Our CAPFA AlumaFin7™ Cased Aluminum Evaporator Coil features thin fins and is designed to provide up to 2.0 tons of cooling capacity, 1.5 tons of heating capacity and is packed full of innovative features for increased performance and efficiency. Our evaporator coil utilizes a patented single piece EPDM gasket and an internal pressure relieving device to reduce operating temperature, save energy and prevent refrigerant leaks.

CAPFA AlumaFin7™ Cased Aluminum Evaporator Coils are manufactured from aluminum fins bonded to a high resistance aluminum sheet. The coil is assembled in a silicone and coolant resistant co-extruded PVC jacket.

For wet cooling, aluminum evaporator coils provide the greatest cooling capacity of any coil. This CAPFA product is a Cased AlumaFin7™ aluminum fin vertical evaporator coil for use in warm climates with a design temperature of 95°F set point and 115°F condenser water.

This unit is designed for high temperatures with Commercial grade aluminum sheet metal fins and stainless steel end plates for long life, flexibility and corrosion resistance.
