This CAPFA AlumaFin7™ Cased Aluminum Evaporator Coil, Upflow/Downflow, 33.5 Ton, 17.5 in Cabinet with Orifice Expansion Device is designed for air conditioners and heat pumps (see application table for specifications). The flow of the refrigerant here is up through the evaporator to the outdoor coil.

The CAPFA 4226B6 is a downflow/upflow evaporator coil with a 17.5 inch cabinet that has an orifice type expansion device. The capacity for this evaporator is 33.5 tons and the efficiency rating is 91%. This cased coil can be used in residential freezer applications, beermakers, and ice makers.
