The CAUFA Uncased Aluminum Evaporator Coil, Upflow/Downflow, 2.53.0 Ton, 19.50 in Cabinet with Orifice Expansion Device from Goodman is a two-stage cooling coil intended for use with wall-mounted outdoor air conditioners and heat pumps (not included).

Goodman's CAUFA3626C6 is an evaporator coil for upflow and downflow applications. It has a 36-inch width and includes an orifice expansion device. Goodman markets this type of product under the Amana brand name.

CAUFAs are designed for installation in cabinet, flush with the top of the cabinet. The coil must be installed at least 2" away from side walls, 6" away from corner walls, and 8" away from front and rear walls. The CAUFA is designed to be installed vertically with a coil outlet temperature of 70 degrees C (158 degrees F) and a suction temperature between 50 degrees C (122 degrees F) and 55 degrees C (131 degrees F). Recommended airflow is 100 cfm per ton of cooling capacity.
