The HKSX05XC five kilowatt electric heater was designed to heat small to medium-sized areas, and warms 40 to 450 sq. ft. The heater has a compact design yet powerful heating performance. Note, this kit only comes with the electric heater, mounting brackets, and wiring harness. It does not include the air filter or exhaust ducting.

The HKSX05XC kit is designed to heat the area where the heat meets the air. The only means of dispersing the heat is through convection. All other methods are bypass or radiant. You will not "feel" this unit unless you touch it directly or unless there is air movement -- even then, it's not like an overhead electric blower.

This kit heats up to 400 square feet. The kit consists of a compact heat pump that is rated at 4,000 Btu/hr (7,200 Btu/hr in heating), and a set of 3 flexible air ducts to direct the heat.
