The Deltana 24SB19 paintable heavy duty surface bolts are designed for use in applications requiring more holding power than standard jamb bolts. These surface bolt assemblies feature strong forged zinc-plated steel construction, anodized paintable pivot cap and a three-point locking face for maximum strength. Surface bolt assemblies are used to secure door frames to trim, typically at original installation or repair. They are installed by drilling hole holes through both surfaces being joined and applying the threaded head of the bolt

This heavy-duty surface bolt locks the door knob to prevent it from turning, but is conveniently placed on the outside so it won't interfere with a won't interfere with normal operation of the door. This fastens with a 1" diameter bolt and two 9/16" thick strike bolts to prevent drilling. The 24SB19 surface bolt is black powder coated.
