The heavy duty 4 in. x 4" S44HDBB26 hinge is perfect for commercial and residential use, from outside shutters, to garage doors. The HD refers to heavy duty. These are rated for 375 lbs. per door leaf which is more than twice the weight of our standard hinges (150lbs.).

This is a pair of 4" x 4" Deltana chrome heavy duty square 4 inch square hinge with ball bearings. It has a 1 1/4 inch rise and a 1 1/2 inch projection for mounting over an existing hole on your door. Pair of ten 4x4 hinges are sold to be installed on one door. They have a rated load capacity of 220 lbs. per hinge and are rated for knifing applications. If you need a different quantity, please contact us before placing your order.
Our Standard Duty Square Hinges have a .085" thick frame and a heavy, bright chrome plated finish (the heaviest plating offered by Deltana). They are perfect for use in doors, drawers and cabinets that have light to moderate loading and will not see the elements.

Solid, smooth and feel like quality. This is the impression one can form from Deltana's chrome ball bearing hinges. These are very high quality hinges and were a great set of hinges to install. I had a new door and casing built to my specifications that included 4 inset 2 ft. (vertical) doors. The first step was to fasten the doors into the casing with glazed hinges as I wanted the bulk of the weight supported by the casing and not on the door itself. I also used the 2 ft. long glazed hinge system for my interior casings so they looked like one continuous surface
