Deltana offers this BHMA A156.2 Grade 2 Certified Solid Brass Passage Door Lock for residential and commercial use. It comes with a heavy duty 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" passage door knob and 2-3/4" adjustable backset. The knob offers a sleek and slim profile that is easy to install and complements most home door designs.
Designed for installation in hollow doors, the Deltana Pocket Locks are for use with mortise locks. A straight door panel is required. Pocket diameter is 2 1/2" x 2 3/4".
Deltana pocket locks include a tailpiece with a 3/8" projection for mounting on the face of a door. Pocket locks are more secure than a deadbolt; the inactive side has less area and is easier to lock and unlock. All doorknobs can be locked with either faceplate.
Antique nickel finish. The 2 1/2" wide body and mounting holes for this lock set are designed for use with thick wood doors ranging from 1" to 2 3/4" in thickness. This is a non-key locking pocket door lock set. The passage (knob) side of the lock has only one cylinder and thumbturn, while the latch (aka strike) side has two cylinders and a deadbolt/spindle assembly.
Designed to withstand the rigors of commercial use, this solid brass lock is comfortable in all Deltana, Schlage and many Yale mortise locks. The passage locks are shorter than standard locks but can fit spaces where standard door locks don't fit.
