Turn off the water supply. Remove the aerator from the faucet body by unscrewing it counterclockwise. Wipe off any metal filings or debris that may have fallen into the faucet body. Screw in a new aerator by hand clockwise until it is tight. Remove the aerator on your new faucet by hand until it breaks free from the faucet body. Screw on your new faucet by hand until tight. Turn on your water supply and test for leaks. If this is not successful, turn off the water supply again, reassemble your new faucet
