Replace the tub spout with a small stopper and screw it into the wall in the back of your tub. The stopper will have a hole in the middle so you can run your PEX tubing through it. Before you screw in your PEX tubing, cut off one end and slip on an end cap. From here, follow your diagram to connect everything together. Just make sure to use teflon tape when connecting all of your pieces together where they will come into contact with each other.
