The Detroit Radiant TP-264D Normally Open Pressure Switch is a marine grade 316 Stainless Steel Switch, specifically designed to mount directly to the side of a Detroit Radiant Oil Fired Boiler.

It shuts off power when water reaches the pressure setpoint, yet allows electricity to flow through the heating elements.

The TP-264D is capable of sensing pressure in both the gas and liquid mediums, its stainless steel diaphragm prevent signal contamination by chemicals. Its precise design for normally open signal output prevents false triggering from system leaks and overpressure. The Detroit Radiant TP-264D normally open pressure switch is designed for applications where there are two water streams, such as radiant water heating systems, that need to be interrupted during installation or service. The open pressure switches allows the installer to close the circuit and turn on heaters so that the piping can be connected and adjusted.
