This deadbolt is one sided and has an adjustable backset and radius strike to accommodate a range of door thicknesses. This deadbolt is designed for use on wood doors only.

The single-sided deadbolt provides key-in-knob convenience with the added benefit that you don't need to keep track of a separate key for the knob, because there's only one lock cylinder on that side of the door.
