This Mastercool die set has 1/2-inch reduced barrier cylinder bore with an outside diameter of .715-.725 inch and a chamfer length of .300 inch. It is designed to fit in the 7151-L chamber. The die set features a 10 degree split lock ring.

Chilled water is used in many commercial facilities. This die set features a #10 (1/2'') straight flute and are for use with 1/2'' chiller lines. The die heads have a barrier tube that allows water to pass, but limits the passage of potentially damaging air bubbles.

We have reduced the standard barrier thickness on this die set to half of that required by the ASME/ANSI specifications to enable easier part removal while maintaining its strength. With a thin wall and standard male land, this is a high strength die set which produces parts comparable in quality to those produced with standard dies that cost 10-20 times more. Made is the USA of 8610 alloy steel, it features induction hardened and ground tool parts, and a precision ground finish.
