The Don-Jo MEST102630 Mortise Type Extended Lip ANSI Strike Satin Stainless Steel Finish measures 4" x 2" and is compatible with ANSI Deadbolts and many types of door prep work on a variety of wood applications. This strike features a round raised knob that extends about an extra 1/8" from the door/door jamb, making it easier to push the door closed. It is compatible with most pin tumbler locks and available for both right and left handed doors.

Don-Jo Mortise Type Extended Lip ANSI Strikes are used for attaching deadbolt cylinders to door bodies. They are 1/2" wide mortise type extended lip strikes and have a satin stainless steel finish. This standard strike is made of 13 gauge steel and meets the requirements of ANSI standard A156.2, including double locking in doors 1/4" to 3/4" thick. The ANSI/BHMA Standard for Mortise Locksets specifies 2-1/8" as the minimum width of the Mortise Lock Strike, which is why this strike is often used as a replacement for an existing Mortise Strike. However, if you would like to install a Mortise Lock on a surface where there is not room for the 2-1/8" wide strike (such as on a storefront glass display), this Don-Jo MEST102630 4-7/8" wide x 2" high extended lip strike can be substituted instead.
