The Don-Jo ANSI Mortise Strike is a steel strike plate designed for use with wood door hinge/mortise type locksets. This strike features an extra long arm that accommodates up to a distance of 7/16 of an inch from the edge of the door.
Don-Jo's Mortise Type strike plate is a simple but effective means of securing a door. Pre-drilled for easy installation, the strike plate has a built-in zig-zag pattern for maximum strength. Its dark bronze finish matches most common interior finishes in style and color.
These 13 gauge steel mortise type ANSI strikes with dark bronze finish are ideal for use with hollow metal doors, and will add style to your front entrance. Each strike comes with a 1-5/8" backset or face set option. They are easy to install and work on doors from 1-1/4" to 2-1/8" thick, which makes them appropriate for most doors.
