The new 3/16 and 1/4-in. Double Flaring Tool is the first of its kind from Lincoln Electric designed specifically for both single and double flares. The special jaws are self-centering so they can be used for either single or double flares with a simple change of setups. Hydraulically formed teeth allow the installer to customize the flare shape by squeezing the handle of the tool, thereby adjusting the flare angles during installation. The teeth act as stops so that once the desired flare angle is achieved, it will not inadvertently adjust if bumped.
