2 INCH DS06 "DIALSET" LOW LEAD PRESSURE REGULATING

The 2IN DS06 DialSet Low Lead Pressure Regulating Valve is a low lead, one port high density reducing valve that maintains pressures within the 0-75 psi range at the end of the installing tubing. The 2IN DS06 DialSet works on a set pressure, therefore upon initial use of water; it may appear to operate too slowly until the system reaches its desired operating pressure. For best results, this valve should be installed when there is at least 30 ft of line pressure prior to the valve.

The 2 in. Dial-Set Low Lead Pressure Regulating Valve, CSA Certified, models DS06 and DS06SL is designed to safely control pressure at the tank inlet of a water heater or boiler during a system pressure drop. During low water flow conditions, the dial can be advanced clockwise to achieve an increased flow and, thereby, increased water temperature.

The DS-06-1 and DS-06 DialSet low lead, pressure regulating controls are direct acting, solenoid-operated, pressure-reducing control valves designed to reduce pressures up to the maximum working pressure of the equipment being protected. The valve is intended for use in applications where a firm, constant low downstream pressure is needed.

The DIALSET Low Lead Pressure Regulating Valve is a monitered, on/off style bypass device which straddles the water heater and building drain system. It may be installed in place of a primary pressure relief valve whenever water heater discharge flows are sufficient to assist in heat exchanger cleaning cycles. It may also be installed as a stand-alone device in systems not having a primary low lead relief? valve. For stand-alone application, use with a presetting temperature relief valve or installation of a remote control temperature power limiting valve to control heat exchanger cleaning cycles.
