The Dutton-Lainson 5801552 spare tire bracket has a birch plywood core and a hardwood exterior. Five durable wheel hooks are used to secure the tire in the bracket. The bracket is equipped with two high-strength 1/4" fully threaded bolts for easy installation and removal when not in use. For protection against theft, the bracket can be mounted to your trailer or vehicle by using a pass-through hole in the end of the bracket. The 12" wide bracket came specifically designed for 1941 Ford carry all utility 4x4 trucks, yet fits on most vehicles to ensure that you have a
